BoA's true hit song in Japan. Because of this big hit, BoA's name could've been carved on Japanese people's brain. Most of all, strong choreography was shocking to J-pop fans. There was no such a female singer who danced so intensively. Expecially BoA's powerful dance performance with using KNEE was damn cool. This single made its debut on no.3 on Oricon daily single chart. Regarding previous singles debut position, this was a very great score for BoA. The second day, no.4. Weekly chart no.5. selling 31000 copies on this week. and the next week, total 67700 copies were sold. And til 02/16, 140990 copies sold.

Korean news started broadcasting such a success of BoA in Japan on TV. The first Korean who stood on no.3 on Oricon chart.
and Korean J-pop manias started talking about BoA on the net. Certainly BoA became an HOT issue. Countless ANTI-BoA fans were sure of BoA's failure in Japan. Actually almost everybody believed so. That she would never get a fame in Japan.
But this young girl's mature vocal that surrounds a body with amazing dance ability started making a miracle step by step.

There was an issue of copying American group Dream - 'He Loves U Not'.
Anyway BoA released her very first album in Japan with same title. 'LISTEN TO MY HEART' after this single.
When it becomes NO.1 on Oricon album chart, she flew to Korea with 2nd korea album titled 'NO.1/waiting..'.
LISTEN TO MY HEART (Korean Version) is included in this album as a bonustrack. But after complaints by BoA fans, SM replaced edited version from 2nd press.
1st press included LISTEN TO MY HEART with BIG CHORUS. This was edited from 2nd press.
