BoA's released 2nd recut single (1st one is Don't start now). This song is used as image song for famous playstation2 game 'Sengoku Musou' which sells million copies throughout the world. This tie up may be the strongest one among all the BoA tied up songs. Be the one had to be the important role for BoA's 3rd japan album 'LOVE & HONESTY' sales. There was no megahit single from this single except 'Shine We Are/Earthsong'. DOUBLE couldn't get success, next single 'Rock With You' was even worse, so Avex released 'Be the one' as recut single for steady selling of 'LOVE & HONESTY'. Just like almost recut single sales, Be the one didn't sell that much during 1st week from release-date,

This song is BoA's first japanese song composed by swedish composer, actually team of three swedish guys.
There is NO.1 by swedish composer in korean album. Song BPM is very fast unlike previous singles.
About PV, this is the only one music video only BoA appears in it, BoA is wearing white suit and plays with ball, doing baseball, basketball, football... The motion BoA makes NO.1 with hands at the end is the way japanese samurai did for meaning of "I am going".
