After dubious popularity of debut album 'ID; Peace B' in korea. BoA released 1st special album titled 'Jumping into the world'. This album was made for BoA's advance into the world just like the title itself but BoA's debut was a failure, regarding tons of anti-fans and falling short of people's overloaded expectations. Only one promo song 'Don't start now' from this special album came out but it became a failure again.

Since end of activity of 'Don't start now', BoA started making debut in japan.
'Don't start now' is composed by Peter Rafelson (He is famous for his composing of Madonna's 'Open Your Heart' as well as top ten singles of Stevie Nicks, Jane Wiedlin of Go Go's + Lee Jung Hyun - 'Feel Me'). Lyrics are about some girl who is fallen in love with her sister's boyfriend so BoA says "Don't start now, please wait for me until I become a nice lady." Music video location was in New York with american back dancers.

Later, this song got released as a special single in japan. Also check Don't start now (Japanese Version).
